I’m Ernesto. I’m a Senior Product Designer with 8 years of experience, mostly diving deep into banking, SaaS, and Design Systems. What I really enjoy is taking those messy, complex business requirements and turning them into something that actually works, interfaces that are polished, easy to use and above all scalable.
I’ve always seen design as a way to move the needle for the business, not just to make things look pretty. In my last role at Realnaut, I led the creation of a Design System from scratch that ended up cutting development time by 30%. I also took charge of the digital transformation for their whole ecosystem, including their internal SaaS platforms, which helped the team shave about 25% off their operational tasks. Before that, I spent almost four years at Openbank. I was deep in the trenches of some pretty complex areas like payments, customer, security, and investments, and I even had the chance to help get Zinia off the ground from day one.
