Backed by Santander Consumer Finance, Zinia is a fintech solution designed to simplify credit at the point of sale. It bridges the gap between B2C customers and B2B partners, offering a frictionless payment experience that translates complex banking processes into a transparent, user-friendly interface.

The Challenge
As part of the design team at Openbank, the goal was to launch and scale Zinia, a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform. The challenge wasn't just creating an attractive interface, but orchestrating a complex ecosystem that served three critical fronts: the end customer, the merchant partners, and the developer community.
My work focused on three key pillars
Architecture & Conceptualization: Defining the web experience to clearly differentiate value propositions for both customers and businesses.
Developer Experience (DX): End-to-end design of the Developer Portal, creating a library of resources and documentation to help external technical teams integrate the Zinia API into their own products.
Scalability: Creation and maintenance of a dedicated Design System for the public web environment, ensuring visual consistency and front-end development agility.
